VW Gold Mine in Whittier, CA has put Nadya Suleman back in the Press after featuring a display using their long-time mascot posing with eight baby dolls.

Thankfully, this is just a story about Octo-Teri, a mannequin that doesn’t have her hand in my wallet withdrawing money from my hard-earned paycheck.
The VW Gold Mine parts store has the driver’s side half of a blue 1969 Volkswagen Beetle mounted on the front of the building where they typically pose their celebrity style-icon mannequin “Teri” to draw attention to VW fans and entertain passersby. The owners say they often decorate her for the season. On the website, they have a section dedicated to the mannequin where they photo-journalize her party-girl story. She has been the main feature in several photo shoots:

The store pays tribute to the impact Nadya Suleman–better known on the intarwebs as the “Octo-mom”–has made on the lesser-known town of Whitter, California after the Press swarmed the town in an attempt to get the inside story on the family. The spotlight on the town faded when Suleman took up residence in a different town.
